Bio

Harley Guio started his musical education when he was only 8 years old, and quickly took to immersing himself in the guitar, playing as many styles, genres, and songs as he could fit in his brain. A passionate lover of film and game media, he started arranging songs for fingerstyle guitar when he was only 12 years old. This eventually lead him to join his high school jazz band, where he really started to develop his musical skill set.

Harley went on to study jazz studies at Cuesta College, where he immersed himself in both classical and jazz guitar while studying under Jeff Miley. During this time, he also worked as a gigging guitarist throughout SLO county, playing in various jazz, folk, and rock ensembles., as well as teaching guitar privately in the area. In 2014, Harley was also the recipient of the prestigious SLO Jazz Federation Scholarship.

In 2016, Harley moved to Los Angeles to attend CSU Northridge, where he learned under the legendary John Pisano and would go on to complete his undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies. During this time, Harley carved a name for himself as a versatile guitarist and performer.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Harley, like many others, used this as a time of self reflection. He combined his lifelong love of game and film media with the guitar, and started his popular Fingerstyle Game Arrangement series.

Harley continues to live in LA, where he works as a gigging guitarist, teacher, and arranger.
